Wait. Jangan menuduh gue macem-macem dengan pajang video dan lirik ini. Gue gak ada motif apapun. Pertama, ini bukan lagu gue, tapi lagunya Eric Martin. Itu lho, vokalisnya Mr. Big. Ini bukan lagu Everything-nya Michael Bubble juga lho. Nuansanya beda karena yang ini lebih nge-rock. Dan taukah apa kelebihan musik rock dibanding lainnya? Emosi. Musik rock lebih keluar emosinya dibanding musik yang lebih soft. Musik rock itu musiknya anak muda, jadi gak ada salahnya dong ngasih lagu cinta berirama rock ke pasangan. Kedua, gue justru menyarankan elo gunakan lagu ini dan hayati untuk pasangan lo. Ketiga, lagu ini gak mainstream.

Gak ada alasan khusus soal lagu ini sih, hanya saja barisan lirik itulah yang kurang lebih memang semestinya dijadiin benchmark dalam penghargaan lo terhadap pasangan.

Jujur, gue merasa telat tau lagu ini. Karena jika gue tau sebelum gue nikah, gue pasti kasih lagu ini ke pacar, dan gue jadikan pula sebagai wedding song gue. Iya, gue memilih lagu ini ketimbang lagu-lagu evergreen mainstream yang ada di kompilasi kaset punya bokap-nyokap kita, atau lagu macam A Thousand Years-nya Christina Perri yang sekarang laku banget dinyanyiin di acara kawinan, seolah-olah pengantennya adalah si Edward Cullen dan Bella Swan.

Well, ini mungkin udah gak lagi bisa gue jadikan lagu gue untuk acara-acara seremonial, karena gue udah melewati itu semua. Romansa dan romantika juga udah gak jaman lagi buat gue. Tapi mungkin bisa gue bagi-bagi ini ke temen-temen gue atau siapa aja yang suka lagu ini.
